Fake Google Review & Investment Scam

#How It Works:

1. Job Offer on WhatsApp

   • A scammer claims to be from a big company connected to Google, Amazon, or a hotel chain.

   • They offer a high-paying remote job (₹3K-9K/day) for simple review tasks.

2. Initial Easy Tasks

   • Victims are asked to leave 5-star reviews on random businesses.

   • They submit proof (screenshots) and receive ₹200-₹300 as an "initial payment."

3. Building Trust

   • The scammer continues with small payments for a few rounds to make victims believe it’s real.

   • Many people get involved simultaneously, making the scam appear legitimate.
     
     

4. The Investment Trap

   • After 2-3 rounds, they invite victims to join a Telegram group.

   • They introduce Plans A, B, C, requiring victims to invest money with promises of double or triple returns.

5. Fake Proof & Manipulation

   • The scammers use bot-generated messages & old transaction screenshots to show fake earnings.

   • They create peer pressure—“others are earning, don’t miss out!”

6. Final Scam – Money Gone!

   • If someone invests, the scammer vanishes, or they demand more money to "unlock" the promised payout.

No refunds, no earnings—only loss.


How to Avoid This Scam:

✅ Never Trust WhatsApp Job Offers from unknown contacts.
✅ Legit companies don’t pay for fake reviews—it’s unethical and against policies.
✅ Be cautious of Telegram investment groups promising guaranteed profits.
✅ Never send money upfront for "plans" or "upgrades."
✅ Google the company name + "scam" to check for reports.
✅ Report such numbers on WhatsApp & Telegram to prevent others from getting scammed.
